Construction of an expansion featuring a new building block for critical services within a hospital campus. The project involves a highly technical facility equipped with state-of-the-art systems that meet strict quality and safety standards.
Program
The building includes:
- Burn Center: 12 intensive care rooms with supporting facilities
- 5 Intensive Care Units: each with 12 intensive care rooms
- 1 Post-CCU unit: 12 intermediate care rooms
- Surgical suites: 4 standard operating rooms + 2 hybrid operating rooms
- Support areas: administrative department and technical facilities

Role of Ingenium
Ingenium has been appointed as the partner for the design of all technical systems, including:
- Climate Control & Ventilation
- Reversible air-to-water heat pumps (heating and cooling generated by a separate power plant)
- Climate ceilings for optimal comfort
- Advanced ventilation systems with post-treatment coils in ducts for spaces with high airflow rates
- Plumbing and Hot Water
- Production using residual heat from the steam system
- Booster heat pumps for efficient heating
- Electrical Installations
- New HS/LS cabin integrated into existing campus infrastructure
- System design for critical services with maximum reliability
- Medical Gases
- Complete gas systems for intensive care units and operating rooms
