In the first phase, we determine concrete design principles, so that architect and/or engineering firm stability can take them into account in the best possible way.

Based on the preliminary design, the final concept is chosen and the environmental permit is applied for.

With a detailed BIM model and complete competition file, all contractors can submit complete and comparable bids during the market consultation process.

VIB 's new refrigeration system is more economical, high-performing and redundant

The Vlaams Instituut voor Biotechnologie VIB) renewed the cooling system of a research building in Zwijnaarde. In order to make the optimal choice for this extensive investment, the VIB asked Ingenium to work out various scenarios. We took a broad look at what was possible on the site, and how energy could be exchanged with other facilities in the future. Besides the concept, we were also responsible for the concrete design and the follow-up of the implementation.

New construction of SEW-Eurodrive in Haasrode is CO2 neutral

SEW-EURODRIVE is a German multinational company operating in 52 countries worldwide with more than 19,000 employees. The company produces electric motors, (motors for) gearboxes, gearboxes and other components for vehicles, machines and production lines. Haasrode is 1 of 4 Belgian locations. At Brabanthal - one and a half kilometers from the new building site - the company already has a site.

Air-conditioned high-rise warehouse also allows storage of delicacies

The high bay warehouse covers an area of over 10,000 m2 and is 45 meters high. There is space for 75,000 pallets, which are stored and retrieved fully automatically in the racks. The construction of the warehouse is done 'in reverse': first the racking structure is erected outdoors, with modules of 10 meters high, 12 meters long and 4 meters wide in which the techniques are already pre-assembled. Only after that shelving 'meccano' is completed are the external walls and roof erected, in order to leave as little gap as possible unused.
