Renovation and Expansion of the Existing Operating Room Complex
At AZ Delta, Brugsesteenweg campus in Roeselare, the existing operating theater (Block C) is being remodeled and expanded on Level 3 (with associated new technical spaces on Level +2, and remodeling of existing technical space on Level +4).
Preparation
In a preliminary report, a zone on Level 0 (kitchen and pharmacy) will be renovated, and preparations will be made to eliminate the current technical room on the roof of Block C without disrupting operations within the existing hospital.
Expansion
Ingenium designs the complete technical systems for both new construction and renovation, with coupling to the existing central systems. Great attention is paid to the ventilation of the OP rooms from the technical space below, in order to guarantee a laminar flow and thus perfect air quality in each room. Naturally, great attention is also paid to (electrical) patient safety.
Up to PV panels are provided on the roof of the new building volume.
Ingenium also prepares the file for the medical shuttles.
