Ingenium was tasked with replacing the primary infrastructure of the FEDRIS building, located at Sterrenkundelaan 1 in 1210 Brussels.
Ensuring continuity of service and minimizing disruption caused by the work were crucial in this project. In collaboration with Hoptimize, Ingenium handled the following tasks: the dismantling and removal of the existing technical systems, structural renovations and cladding work, all necessary interior and exterior renovations and fit-outs, and the installation of a new technical system.
The building is a 13-story high-rise. The work was carried out while 12 of the 13 floors remained in use.
The technical systems consisted of the compressed air systems, the heating and cooling systems, and the plumbing and electrical systems.
To this end, the expertise of several subcontractors was also enlisted: TWAR (architecture), Studiebureau BDS (structural engineering), CBConseil (asbestos survey), and D2S International (acoustics).
