House of Flemish Representatives
This renovated building (1937) was formerly used as the Postcheque Office. The building was completely renovated to serve the Flemish People's Representatives and their administrations. Through an underground connection, the House of the Flemish People's Representatives was connected to the Flemish Parliament itself. The total area is approximately 70,000 m², of which 25,000 m² underground levels (parking, technical rooms, archive rooms, etc.). The building also houses a kitchen (350 meals), a restaurant, a self-service, fitness room, the fully restored ticket office hall, an atrium, ...
Ingenium designed all technical equipment in this building (HVAC installations, sanitary installations, electricity, kitchen installations, security installations, data-voice, elevators including the renovation of 2 paternoster elevators, building management system, CHP, ...) and did the site follow-up.
