Leuven Connected approached Ingenium for assistance with the applicable PV obligation. In consultation with the customer, the budget, available surface areas, future plans, and other preconditions were compiled to develop several scenarios that take into account the PV obligation at different time frames (2030–2040).

Ingenium was responsible for translating the PV obligation into concrete short- and medium-term scenarios for the specific situation at Commscope. An important element in this study was the division of the site into sub-users. The most favorable scenario for the customer was developed into technical specifications. Ingenium also provided assistance in the publication and award process for the PV contract.

Ultimately, 300 kWp of PV panels were installed on the roof of the Commscope site to meet the PV obligation requirements for 2030.
