On behalf of POM West Flanders, we collaborated on a plan to make the Blauwe Toren business park in Bruges more sustainable.
Comprehensive Energy Transformation Plan
Ingenium developed the comprehensive energy and mobility transformation strategy for the Blauwe Toren business park, including an analysis of the current energy situation and an integrated master plan with visions for 2030 and 2050.

Sustainable Energy Solutions
The current energy situation was assessed, and future scenarios were outlined for 2030 and 2050.
For example, two wind turbines will be installed, solar power generation will be optimized, and a parking tower will be built to serve as an energy hub, complete with extensive charging infrastructure.
Guidance is provided to companies on how to make their internal processes more sustainable, share energy, and better align energy demand with supply—for example, by using individual or shared batteries. The plan also includes the development of afifth-generation district heating network linked to geothermal and aquathermal sources.
Close Collaboration with Partners
The plan was developed in close collaboration with POM West Flanders, stakeholders such as the City of Bruges and WVI, and consulting firms that took on the other aspects of the project: Efficient Land Use, Water, Materials, Mobility, Landscape and Ecological Quality, Park Management, Business Park Associations, and Social Services.
