For the DBM project on the construction of a public swimming pool, Ingenium is appointed as technical consultant representing the client's interests. This consultant supervises the entire process, from the preparation to the final delivery of the construction works. He has the necessary expertise in legislation, technical standards, government contracts and the subsidy conditions of Sport Flanders.

In the preparatory phase, he assists in the collection of crucial information, such as soil surveys and urban planning regulations, and helps draft the program of requirements and award documents. He analyzes the applications, supervises the negotiations and evaluates the bids for conformity, design, technical installations and planning. After award, he follows up the execution, monitors the budget, quality and timing, and reports regularly to the client. He also monitors progress and prepares necessary process statements.

Throughout the project, the aim is to ensure efficient, sustainable and cost-conscious operation of the swimming pool. The consultant works closely with all parties involved, such as city services, Sport Vlaanderen, associations and local residents, but remains independent of the construction team. He takes no decisions that legally fall under the client's competence.
