Poultry slaughterhouse Cooreman is doubling its production, exceeding the limit of 0.1 PJ of primary annual energy consumption and thus becoming an energy-intensive company. The environmental permit requires an energy study of the expansion and, because the 0.1 PJ limit is exceeded, an energy plan of the entire plant.
