ECS/ 2XL High-rise 2
After the completion of an initial high-rise building with 36,000 pallet spaces, Ingenium was called in again to study special techniques for high-rise building 2.
In the Maritime Logistics Zone in Zeebrugge's inner harbor, a second fully automated high-bay warehouse over 40 meters high was built with 76,000 pallet spaces. The necessary loading and unloading areas were also provided, and there is even a rail connection so that trains can be loaded and unloaded. A small office building was also constructed.
We worked out the Lot sprinkler system in detail so that the necessary recesses were provided in the prefabricated racks to install all the sprinkler pipes, because no further drilling was allowed in the structure afterwards. The aspiration system was also worked out in detail.
For the electricity supply, the design was made from high voltage to low voltage, and an emergency power generator is provided for the total power, so the site can remain fully operational if the Fluvius grid is down.
