KevlinX Data Center 36 kV High-Voltage Substation 2x40 MVA Review of the construction design

KevlinX Data Center 36 kV High-Voltage Substation 2x40 MVA

The power supply is a 2N configuration with an on-site 36/11 kV GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) substation, providing two fully independent power supply paths. The current installed capacity is 40 MVA, with a planned expansion to 40/60 MVA.

The infrastructure follows an N+1 distributed redundant model across multiple independent power zones. The UPS system is designed at the medium-voltage level (Medium Voltage UPS), supplemented by backup generators that take over the power supply in the event of a power outage. At the rack level, redundant power is provided via the N+1 distributed redundant electrical infrastructure, with each rack powered via in-row busbars positioned directly between the rows of racks.
