Within the Interreg Flanders-Netherlands project SEL, POM West Flanders wishes to implement an energy monitoring platform for at least 6 companies on the Plassendale business park in Ostend. INGENIUM took care of the implementation of the monitoring platform Energis.cloud.

Ingenium performed an energy scan in each company to identify the potential for energy (cost) savings. Feasibility studies on the potential of solar panels and (medium-sized) wind turbines on the company sites were made. In addition, Ingenium also provides periodic (quarterly) reporting of data and analyses based on data from this platform for these 6 companies.

The ultimate goal of the project is to identify the potential for energy exchange between companies, where surplus renewable energy from one company could be passed on to surrounding companies.
