Ingenium was responsible for the thematic plot circular economy energy. This included the inventory and assessment of the energy situation on site, the preparation of a SWOT analysis, and the development of ambitions and solutions for a climate-neutral energy supply, coordinated with the other themes within the integrated master plan and during stakeholder workshops.
The end result is a concrete transition plan with an integrated master plan and a phased approach from 2030 to 2050, including quick wins, street profiles, action sheets, and business cases.
For energy, techniques and concepts were developed such as energy savings through optimization and heat recovery, expansion of the existing heat network, local renewable production via PV and wind, collective solutions such as energy hubs and storage, and smart control via monitoring and energy sharing between companies.
