By order of BeauVent cvba, Ingenium was responsible for the engineering of the grid connection of 2 wind turbines on the Qualiphar site in Bornem.

Some figures on these turbines:

2 x Enercon E70

Mast 113 m / diameter 71 m

Power: 2x2.3MW

Annual production of power for 2,600 families

In this project, 2 new high voltage cabins are being built. One cabin is the new head-end station of Qualiphar's plant that also provides power to one of the two turbines. The other turbine will be connected directly to Fluvius' grid via a separate high-voltage cabin.

The works are currently underway, herewith a photo of the foundation of the wind turbine.
