Education and Navorsing 4 is a laboratory building of approximately 40,000 m² specifically for biotechnology and is located on the Gasthuisberg campus of the Catholic University of Leuven. Ingenium was responsible for the technical equipment of the building, which was delivered in 2012.

The building contains laboratories with microbiological safety cabinets (Laminary Air Flow), acid and product cabinets, housing stem cell research and research clusters of the VIB , among others. Writing and office space for "postdocs" are integrated into the landscape laboratories. Because of the specific safety requirements, a high ventilation rate is required.

Separate rooms are provided for laboratories with specific equipment, radiological and chemical safety requirements and L3 containment levels. Two full building layers are reserved for the clean room of the center for cell therapy and tissue banking of UZ Leuven. The 2 floors are merged into 1 extra high floor where the cleanrooms are located at the bottom and the corresponding technical space on a light platform above. One floor with cafeteria and auditorium functions as an interface with the surroundings and neighboring buildings. The building is connected to the campus' supply tunnel. Parking garages are provided under the building.
