Keizerpoort is an urban infill project in Ghent and is being built in three phases.

The first phase is also the largest phase of the project. In the first phase, 40 apartments, 3 single-family homes, 5,000 m² offices, a supermarket, a space for restaurants and cafes, bicycle parking spaces—including a bicycle wash area—and parking spaces for cargo bikes will be provided. The office building will be equipped with climate control ceilings that regulate the temperature of the spaces in both summer and winter. By choosing this distribution system, we can operate with high supply temperatures in the summer and low supply temperatures in the winter, making the building future-proof for the introduction of heat pump technology. Furthermore, the office building is ventilated in accordance with current laws and standards, and maximum energy is recovered through the use of heat wheels with moisture recovery. The lighting in the office is motion-activated and is also dimmed based on the amount of natural light available.
