The Fotomuseum in Antwerp is being expanded with a new depot building.

To predict the performance of the proposed concept and possibly adjust the proposal, the Province of Antwerp engaged Ingenium. The concept is grafted onto the Denmark model in which as few techniques as possible are used to adjust the indoor climate.

Ingenium performed a series of hygrothermal simulations and concluded that the installations were dimensioned too large, which would lead to rather high energy consumption. Ingenium worked out an adapted regulation to limit the energy consumption of those installations.
