Units 23&27 Dublin Airport Logistics Park

Dublin Airport Logistics Park (DALP) is a large-scale 150-acre commercial industrial park with prominent brands and leading facilities. Ethos was engaged to develop 2 new industrial units, units 23 and 27, with reception, ancillary offices, toilets/elevator shafts and warehouse facilities. The factory spaces are located on the roof above the second floor in the warehouse and are accessed via a ship's ladder. Each unit also consists of rear yards with parking spaces (10% of that space is allocated for EVs with charging stations), bicycle parking spaces, water supply infrastructure and facilities for a sustainable urban drainage system.

Ethos was engaged to develop 2 new industrial units, units 23 and 27, with reception, ancillary offices, restrooms/elevator shafts and warehouse facilities. The factory spaces are located on the roof above the second floor in the warehouse and are accessed via a ship ladder. Each unit also consists of rear yards with parking spaces (10% of that space is allocated to EVs with charging stations), bicycle parking, water supply infrastructure and facilities for a sustainable urban drainage system.

Ethos Engineering designed and oversaw the installation and commissioning of all mechanical and electrical services. The work included both warehouse/industrial units with office blocks internal to each unit. In addition, electrical and mechanical services for the property itself were also designed by Ethos. This included site lighting, automatic gates for properties, power requirements for security and much more.

Because exceeding expectations is in our ethos, we designed a variable cooling system combined with heat recovery ventilation to provide the client with design flexibility within the newly constructed office blocks. All office blocks also received new water, sewer, power, LED lighting and fire protection. The warehouse and office areas were further equipped with emergency lighting and fire alarm systems.

Ethos ensured that the services provided were future-proof and armed the client with design flexibility for scalability requirements, such as communications, data and power.
At Ethos, we build sustainable solutions for every client, and that was no different for DALP. The M&E facilities were designed and installed, with LEED Silver certification. We also integrated mechanical and electrical systems to optimize energy consumption, in line with our promise to deliver sustainable solutions.
