Zaventem airport energy plan BIAC
Ingenium was commissioned by TBAD (The Brussels Airport Company) to prepare the energy plan for Zaventem Airport. The energy plan was updated in 2010 and 2014.
Ingenium was commissioned by BIAC (Brussels International Airport Company) to draw up the energy plan for Zaventem Airport (2006). This was done in collaboration with Cenerpro. The energy plan included, on the one hand, the analysis of heat production and the heat distribution network for the two central boiler rooms (60 MW and 35 MW).
On the other hand, energy-saving measures were identified and quantified for all airport buildings managed by BIAC in accordance with the provisions of the Energy Plan Decree. The energy plan was declared compliant by the VEA (Flemish Energy Agency).
In 2010, the energy plan was successfully updated. This update was another successful collaboration between Ingenium and Cenerpro. The client for the update was the Brussels Airport Company, the successor of BIAC.
