UZ Leuven campus Gasthuisberg needed to update its energy plan for the period 2022-2026. Ingenium drafted the initial energy plan in 2006 and has since updated it 3 times (2010, 2014 and 2018). Ingenium was also appointed for this new update.

The focus included an update of measures from previous updates, a large-scale boiler room renovation, recovery of a number of existing waste heat flows (directly and via heat pumps), lowering the temperature of sanitary hot water production and distribution, relighting rojects and large-scale PV installations. The update was declared compliant before the Flemish Energy and Climate Agency.
