At UZ Gent, an expansion and renovation of the existing emergency department was planned because the existing emergency department had too little space.

Within this project, techniques were provided or modified for the existing consultation boxes, new triage rooms, waiting room and reception area, a new contamination bay and the expanded ambulance bay.
