La Lorraine Erpe Mere energy study phase 3

As a result of the master plan La Lorraine Erpe-Mere frozen bakery, as part of the preparation of the environmental permit, an Energy Study should be added to it.

This phase consists of building an additional high-rise freezer and picking department. In this department, the baked products are cooled, frozen and transported via a freezer corridor to the high-rise freezer. Ingenium is preparing this energy study according to Decision Energy Planning.

This energy study shows that La Lorraine Erpe-Mere will carry out the expansion with the Best Available Techniques (BAT). Ingenium advises and calculates energy-saving measures. Maximum use will be made of heat recovery for own use on the cooling installation. The energy consumption for this expansion is estimated at 0.174 PJprim.

At this stage, there is no expansion of fossil energy consumption.
