Energy concept study Matexi Zellik continued - Phase 1
Matexi is building a new residential area at the Stillemans site in Asse. Matexi wants a sustainable, modern and affordable energy supply solution for their clients. Sustainable heat plays an important role in this.
This study is a continuation of the previous energy concept study for the site and follows the study for Ecopower to use the waste heat from Green Energy Park Zellik's data center as a heat source for the site. Current study focuses on the concrete integration of the energy concept in Phase 1.
Ingenium researches and optimizes different scenarios for Matexi. Both energy performance, equivalent CO2 emissions, structural impact in shafts, technical areas and residential units, costs in the form of total cost of ownership (TCO) and the E-level of type apartments are investigated, optimized and compared with each other.
This multi-criteria comparison allowed Matexi to make a grounded, sustainable choice that met its own E-level requirements (below E20) and was also cost-optimal for its customers.
