Together with Kelvin Solutions, Ingenium will investigate the technical, economic and legal feasibility for application of riothermal energy in Flanders. Specifically, a development trajectory was drawn up to test the feasibility of a riothermal project.

Next steps are explained in the study:

  • Preparation of a Potential Map Sewer Heat;
  • First opportunity screening;
  • Feasibility Study;
  • Deepening the business case;
  • Procurement & Implementation;
  • Completion and use phase. The results are published on the VMM website (https://www.vmm.be/water/riolering/riothermie)
