Ingenium performed some energy studies for UZ Leuven for the major energetic renovation of the former VCTB tower, now Welzijnstoren.
The following studies were conducted:
- dynamic comfort simulation (summer and winter comfort)
- calculating critical building nodes
- alternative energy feasibility study (heat pump, CHP, solar panels, etc.)
- concept study EPB (pre-calculation)
