KMSKA De Keyser Hall
The Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp closed its doors for renovation for several years. The possibilities of improving the thermal performance of the roof of the Keyser Hall were also investigated.
The Ingenium Freestone HFB 2019 partnership is conducting a study on the possibilities of improving the roof of the Keyser Hall in terms of thermal performance. On the one hand to improve summer comfort and on the other hand to reduce energy consumption due to heat losses through the attic. Also, condensation in the Keyser Hall and attic had to be avoided.
Ingenium conducted the following studies for this purpose:
- Energy and comfort simulations of different scenarios
- Building physics simulations of different scenarios
- TCO calculation of 2 retained scenarios
