Building management KMSKA
Within the partnership Ingenium Freestone, Ingenium is taking on the building management for KMSKA for a period of 6 months. This in the period between the provisional handover and the start-up of the maintenance firm.
The Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp is one of the largest and most beautiful museums in our country. In 2011 it closed its doors for a thorough renovation. Many works were given on loan to other houses such as the Rockox House and Bozar, among others. After almost 10 years, the end of the renovation is in sight. It goes without saying that after the renovation, the museum is equipped with the latest gadgets in the field of climate control. Adjusting them is no sinecure. Rubens was happy to fine-tune it.
Ingenium has important expertise in this and therefore guided het facilitair bedrijf of the Flemish government in this. During the first months, Ingenium also monitored the installations via the building management system in order to continuously adjust where necessary. In this, Ingenium acts as a technical partner for het facilitair bedrijf. Such a complex installation also requires very specific maintenance. Specialized maintenance companies are eager to do this maintenance. Ingenium helps to make the right choice in this respect by drawing up a maintenance and management plan with strict conditions and SLAs. Via monthly follow-up meetings, we will check whether the maintenance is carried out correctly. This way, we contribute to making KMSKA one of the new attractions of Antwerp.
