Originally built in 1975 as the Olympiastadion, the Jan Breydel Stadium has recently undergone a general renovation and expansion.

The capacity of the stadium was increased from 18,000 seats to 30,000 seats. This stadium is where the soccer teams K.V. Brugge and K.S.V. Cercle Brugge play. Ingenium was the engineer of technical equipment in both the construction of the Olympiastadion and its expansion into the Jan Breydelstadion.
