At the request of the Flemish government, Ingenium is responsible for the commissioning of the technical systems of the Central Depot in Vilvoorde.

Phase 1 of the project concerns 41.2 linear kilometers of archive depot; phase 2 the rest of the building (including parts of art, geology and archaeology), including exterior landscaping. In the run-up to and on the occasion of provisional acceptance, special attention was paid to the start-up of the BTES and the heating and cooling installations, in close cooperation with the installers. The commissioning assignment continued during the guarantee period, in collaboration with the appointed maintenance company, up to and including final acceptance. In this way, seasonal items are also taken care of and properly adjusted.
