Ingenium studied the optimization of energy consumption and comfort for the offices and workstations at the MRCC (Maritime Rescue and Coordination Center) in Ostend.

For this purpose, a comfort study with measurement campaign was carried out. In parallel, an energy audit was conducted, in which proposals for optimization of existing HVAC installations through adjustment of settings and regulation, together with proposals for integration of renewable energy (PV and wind turbines) were worked out.
